Bridge, Gantry or Jib Cranes

Overhead Bridge Cranes

The backbone of overhead material handling is the overhead bridge crane. Top riding or under running, single girder or double there is a crane design to suit your requirements to a T. And if there is not, we’ll design one specifically for you. Using proven standardized designs and components along with a sophisticated CAD system, each crane is matched to the needs of the customer. Your crane can be either cab, floor, or radio controlled for ease of operation and reduced  fatigue. All cranes furnished by Facilities Engineering exceed all U.S.A. crane design and safety requirements.

TOP RIDING SINGLE GIRDER CRANE SYSTEMS

Facilities Engineering is proud to feature demag equipment – capacities to 15 tons with spans up to 82 feet. Structural shape girders are available on lighter capacities & shorter spans. Independent dual drives eliminate need for cross shaft and support structure. Smooth acceleration and braking provided by tapered rotor induction motor drive units. Floor controlled via pushbutton station with radio control optional.

Dual travel speeds are standard.

UNDERRUNNING SINGLE GIRDER CRANE SYSTEMS

Facilities Engineering is proud to feature demag equipment – capacities to 12.5 tons with spans up to 60 feet. Structural shape girders are available on lighter capacities & shorter spans. Independent dual drives eliminate need for cross shaft and support structure. Smooth acceleration and braking provided by tapered rotor induction motor drive units. Floor controlled via pushbutton station with radio control optional.

Dual travel speeds are standard.

TOP RUNNING DOUBLE GIRDER CRANES

Facilities Engineering is proud to feature demag equipment – capacities to 100 tons with spans up to 120 feet. Structural shape girders are available on lighter capacities & shorter spans. Independent dual drives eliminate need for cross shaft and support structure. Smooth acceleration and braking provided by tapered rotor induction motor drive units. Floor controlled via pushbutton station with radio control optional.

Dual travel speeds are standard. Open or closed cabs available as standard options. Walkways and service platforms are also available as standard options.

WORK STATION SUSPENSION BRIDGE CRANE SYSTEMS

Lifting, holding and point-to-point transport of loads weighing less than a ton constitute a major segment of today’s material handling tasks. Studies show that the average unit load handled in industry today weighs about 400 lbs. and in a majority of cases less than 2,000 lbs. Capacities up to 2 tons can be handled efficiently with a suspension crane built from enclosed track components.

Demag KBK systems match overhead handling equipment to the load and the production process. They provides quiet, smooth and effortless manual movement of heavy loads as a workstation crane or for extended areas of coverage. Fast, two speed electric hoists are a popular choice with the KBK suspension crane system. Fast, easy handling of heavy loads improves productivity on a continuing basis, while employee fatigue and injuries are reduced when machines designed for the task work with employees. Once you have tried this system, you will find substitutes difficult to accept.

Free Standing Or Wall Mounted Jibs

Free Standing, wall cantilever or wall bracket style jib cranes are ideal where loads are localized and relatively light (5 tons or less). Facilities Engineering selects only the highest quality jib crane products designed to provide years of trouble free operation. Manual and power rotation are available.

Gantry Cranes

Fixed or adjustable height and span gantry cranes are an economical alternative to overhead bridge cranes. These cranes are available in capacities up to 15 tons with spans up to 35 feet. Gantry cranes are carefully selected and designed by our engineers to suit the special needs of each customer.

Hand Propelled Underruning & Monorail Cranes

Featuring Demag KBK Crane components which permit effortless hand movement of suspended loads in an unlimited variety of layout configurations. Standard components make installation more cost effective than standard I-beam construction. Capacities to 3.5 tons and spans to 30 feet. Powered travel in single and dual speeds is optional.
